APSCA is part of the Smartex group of smart card industry associations in Europe, Africa and Asia with over 300 members worldwide.



GlobalPlatform identifies, develops and publishes specifications which facilitate the secure and interoperable deployment and management of multiple embedded applications on secure chip technology.  Its proven technical specifications are regarded as the international industry standard for building a trusted end-to-end solution which serves multiple actors and supports several business models.

The freely available specifications provide the foundation for market convergence and innovative new cross-sector partnerships.  The technology has been adopted globally across finance, mobile/telecom, government, healthcare, retail and transit sectors.

GlobalPlatform is a member driven association with cross-industry representation from all world continents. Its members contribute to technical committees and market-led task forces.


GS1 Hong Kong

Founded in 1989 by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, GS1 Hong Kong is a not-for-profit industry-led organization. It is committed to enhancing Hong Kong enterprises’ competitiveness through the provision of global supply chain standards, best practices and enabling technologies. As GS1’s local chapter, GS1 Hong Kong is authorized to issue and administer GS1 identification numbers in Hong Kong. Standards and solutions offered include bar coding services, B2B e-commerce services, Global Data Synchronization (GDS) and Electronic Product CodeTM / Radio Frequency Identification (EPC/RFID). The organization also hosts a wide range of training courses to facilitate knowledge transfer for SCM principles, e-business strategies, global standards and the implementation of enabling technologies. The GS1 community has over two million corporate members spanning over 150 countries and economies and more than 20 industries around the world.



The HKDMA was established to represent & promote the best practices of direct marketing principles; also serves to protect the common interests of related trades and industries. The HKDMA conduct regular activities such as luncheons & seminars, networking events, newsletter and publications as educational and communication channels for industry practitioners.


MEHK, Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong

MEHK, Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong, office of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, was established to promote Hong Kong as the premier destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions. The office provides none stop support to exhibition organisers including facilitation, government liaison/collaboration, publicity, visitor promotion, and hospitality services. Hong Kong is Asia’s World City, an international marketplace that links the booming economies of Mainland China and the rest of Asia with the world.


RFID Institute of Thailand

RFID Institute of Thailand is a non-profit organisation originated from the cooperation of 5 agencies as follows:

SIMalliance (Security, Identity, Mobility) is the global, non-profit industry association which simplifies secure element (SE) implementation to drive the creation, deployment and management of secure mobile services. The organisation promotes the essential role of the secure element (SE) in delivering secure mobile applications and services across all devices that can access wireless networks. By identifying and addressing SE-related technical issues, and both clarifying and recommending existing technical standards relevant to SE implementation, the SIMalliance aims to promote an open SE ecosystem to facilitate and accelerate delivery of secure mobile applications globally.

SIMalliance members represent approx 90% of the global SIM card market and work with all global MNOs. As such, the SIMalliance’s membership is responsible for delivering the most widely distributed secure application delivery platform in the world (UICC/SIM/USIM).

Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), which was established in 2001, is a non-profit trade association registered in Hong Kong to provide a platform for the wireless-related business to work together to benefit the industry development and growth; with objectives below:

  • Represent and safeguard the interests and opinions of the wireless technology industry to the Government and other international parties
  • Promote the development, usage and awareness of wireless technology applications in Hong Kong

"China Credit Card", founded in 1994 by Financial Computer of China (FCC), is a monthly magazine. Its purpose is to promote China's credit card application. People’s Posts and Telecommunications News
