Over the past 24 years the CARTES event in Paris has developed rapidly along with card technologies. It has become the major worldwide business event for the cards industry. It started as a purely French event, a conference about bank cards. It now has 20.000 visitors from 140 countries and covers user markets such as identification, transport, telecoms and e-government.
Supported and advised by an international steering committee consisting of industry leaders, CARTES & IDentification has always been very aware of and anticipated market developments and technological innovations.
